Upon starting up AgenaTrader you will be prompted to enter the activation key. The activation key is required for your license key.
In addition, a new activation key in .dat format is required when you upgrade your current version of AgenaTrader.
If this .dat file cannot be opened by a standard program you must choose how to open it yourself:
- Double-clicking on the key.dat gives you two options for opening it
- Open this file with either Notepad or Editor to display its information.
Once you can see the activation key please enter it in the Activation key field and press the Activate button. The valid license key will be created automatically. Only the combination of both keys will authorize you to use AgenaTrader.
This combination of activation and license keys controls which version of AgenaTrader is in use and unlocks the appropriate functionalities, which can be reviewed in the function matrix.
